Registration Cohort Metrics

Updated over 2 months ago

The Registration Cohort Metrics dashboard allows you to analyze how newly registered users convert into depositors and their subsequent behavior over time. This enables marketing and product teams to measure and optimize conversion funnels by cohort.

Filters

At the top of the dashboard, you can configure your analysis using the following filters:

  • Date Range: Defines the registration date period for the users included in the cohort analysis.

  • Grouping:

    • Day

    • Week

    • Month

    • Country

    • Wallet Currency

    • Traffic Source

    • Refcode

  • Additional Filters (can be added using the “Add condition” button):

    • Country

    • Refcode

    • Traffic Source

The period filters only affect registration dates. All deposit and withdrawal activities are tracked regardless of when they occur, as long as they are linked to users who registered in the selected period.

Table Metrics

The results table displays aggregated data by your chosen grouping. Columns include:

  • Group: Displays the period or dimension selected (day/week/month/country/etc.).

  • Reg Count: Number of user registrations during the selected period.

  • FD Count: Number of first deposits made by users who registered in the period.

  • FD Sum: Total amount of first deposits by these users.

  • Reg/Dep: Percentage of registered users who made their first deposit.

  • RD Count: Number of repeat deposits (all deposits beyond the first deposit).

  • RD Sum: Total amount of repeat deposits.

  • FD + RD Sum: Combined total of first and repeat deposits.

  • WD Sum: Total amount of successful withdrawals by these users.

  • Rev per Reg = (FD + RD Sum) / Reg Count — the average deposit amount per registration.

  • Repeat Rate (%) = (RD count / FD count) × 100% — the average number of repeat payments made by one player, expressed as a percentage for convenience.

Use Cases

This dashboard is essential for:

  • Measuring user conversion from registration to first deposit.

  • Monitoring repeat deposit activity and total deposit volume.

  • Evaluating withdrawal behavior relative to deposits.

  • Comparing performance across countries, traffic sources, and projects.

  • Informing retention and monetization strategies by understanding user lifecycle behavior.

Best Practices

  • Use weekly grouping for medium-term trend analysis.

  • Use country or traffic source splits to evaluate campaign and market effectiveness.

  • Track Reg/Dep to monitor funnel effectiveness post-registration.

  • Combine cohort data with your campaign data for budget optimization.
