Introduction to Push Notifications
Push notifications are an effective tool to directly engage users with timely and relevant information. InTarget's Push Notifications Builder allows you to create, customize, and send notifications directly to users' devices, including those running Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Accessing the Push Notifications Builder

Step 3: Configure Notification Details
Notification Title: Enter a concise and engaging title for your notification. This should grab attention and give an indication of what the message is about.
Notification Text: Write the body of your notification. Keep it brief and direct, conveying the message clearly and efficiently.
Image URL or Upload: You can either provide a URL for an image or upload one directly from your device. An image can make the notification more visually appealing and informative.
Launch URL: Specify a URL to which the user should be directed upon clicking the notification. This could be a specific landing page or a promotional site.
Internal Name: Assign an internal name to your notification for easy identification within the system. This name is not visible to the end users.
Step 4: Preview Your Notification
As you input details into the builder, a real-time preview will update on the right side of the screen, showing how the notification will appear on different operating systems such as Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Use this feature to ensure that your notification looks good on all platforms.

Once you are satisfied with the notification’s appearance and content, save your configuration.
Best Practices for Push Notifications
1. Clear and Concise Messaging:
Due to the limited space and the brief attention span when reading push notifications, ensure your message is straightforward and easy to understand.
2. Engaging and Relevant Content:
Tailor your notifications to the interests and behaviors of your audience. Personalization can significantly increase engagement rates.
3. Optimal Timing:
Consider the timing of your notifications. Sending them when users are most likely to engage can improve the effectiveness of your campaign.
4. Continuous Monitoring and Optimization:
Track the performance of your push notifications in terms of click rates, conversions, and other relevant metrics. Use this data to refine your strategy and improve future notifications.
